In an era where digital transformation is not just a buzzword but a necessity, Roanoke, in collaboration with Rock-it Global, has taken a monumental step forward. We are thrilled to announce our participation in the issuance of the first electronic ATA Carnet, also known as the e-ATA Carnet. This groundbreaking achievement, conducted in partnership with the United States Council for International Business (USCIB) and Rock-it Global, marks a significant milestone in the evolution of international trade and logistics.

The e-ATA Carnet represents the digital future of international trade facilitation. As a digital alternative to the traditional paper carnet, it simplifies the process for temporary exports and imports, making it faster, more secure, and environmentally friendly. This innovation is particularly crucial for time-sensitive shipments, where efficiency and reliability are paramount.

Rock-it Global, a trusted client of Roanoke, played a pivotal role in this process, participating actively in the planning, testing, and successful execution of the first e-ATA Carnet issuance. This collaboration underscores our shared vision of leveraging technology to streamline trade processes and enhance customer experiences.

The inaugural use of the e-ATA Carnet facilitated a time-critical hand-carry shipment for the TPi Magazine Award Ceremony. This event not only showcased the practical benefits of the e-ATA Carnet but also demonstrated our ability to lead and innovate in the face of complex logistical challenges.

It’s important to note that the e-ATA Carnet is still in the testing and planning phase. Full availability in all ports is anticipated to take at least a year. This phased approach ensures that the system is robust, secure, and ready to meet the diverse needs of international traders and logistics providers.

Stay tuned for more shipment details and exciting announcements as we continue to pave the way for a digital future in international trade. At Roanoke, we’re not just keeping pace with innovation; we’re setting the pace!

Goods admitted into Brazil prior to 12/31/2021 will remain in temporary admission status, and in case of the loss or destruction of an existing […]
