Roanoke’s Colleen Clarke Elected as President of ITSA
As of September 1, 2015, the new officers of the International Trade Surety Association (ITSA) have been voted in and we are pleased to advise Roanoke’s Colleen Clarke has been elected as the new President of the association. While ITSA’s membership is small, it is a powerful voice for the customs surety industry with its members producing over 70% of all bonds on file with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In addition to Roanoke, other ITSA members are Avalon Risk Management, International Bond & Marine and Navigators Insurance/Integro Insurance Brokers.
Colleen has been a long time active participant in the association along with Steve Calamia (former ITSA Treasurer), Matt Zehner (former ITSA Secretary) and David Jordan. We thank Steve and Matt for their years of service to ITSA and all of the hard work they put into it; as well as Dave for his sage advice over the years. They will all remain active in ITSA in the future.
In addition to leading the ITSA board, Colleen will continue in her role as a member of the Trade Support Network as Trade Ambassador and as trade co-chair of the Surety Account Subcommittee and the Revenue Committee. Colleen is also a representative on the Customs/Surety Executive Committee (C/SEC).
Colleen is the Vice President of Surety Trade Relations and Business Development for Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. Please join us in wishing Colleen congratulations on her new role in the ITSA!
