Roanoke Trade will be attending the Northern Border (NBCBA) – 2014 Annual Meeting taking place on February 10-12, 2014 in Cape Coral, Florida. NBCA Meetings are held three times during the year with the annual meeting in February. Janet Ciesko, Terry Cummings and Bill Sterrett of Roanoke will be in attendance.

Starting with Importer Security Filings (ISF) due on or after July 9, 2013, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin to use liquidated damages as an enforcement tool for compliance. For over 3 years, CBP relied on outreach, education, and port examinations for non-compliant ISF Importers.
